411 Web Selects GoTo as Exclusive Provider of Pay-for-Performance Search, Comparison Shopping and Auctions

411 Web Integrates All Three of GoTo's Services Into Its Suite of Vertical Web Sites

PASADENA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 22, 2000-- GoTo.com, Inc. (Nasdaq: GOTO - news), the leading provider of Pay-For-Performance search, comparison shopping and auction services to Web sites across the Internet, and 411 Web Directory, Inc., the Internet Traffic Provider, today announced an agreement for GoTo to provide its suite of Pay-For-Performance services to 411 Web's users.

Under the terms of the agreement, GoTo will provide its Pay-For-Performance search results across each of 411 Web's more than 200 vertical portal sites, known as Vortals. Each of these sites has an Internet address starting with 411, such as 411pets.com and 411autos.com. In addition, GoTo Auctions' relevant auction search results will provide 411 Web's users complete information and direct links to auctions in progress on powerful auction sites such as eBay, Amazon.com and Yahoo! Auctions. Finally, completing the deal, 411 Web is also providing its users with GoTo's comparison shopping service on a selection of its portal sites that lend themselves to product search.
